One World at Home

I don’t know if all of you have heard about the One World at Home event by Lady Gaga and WHO (plus a lot other people), yesterday they did broadcast it, you can see that it’s not a Live event as they promised, but a prerecording.

The idea been good, but sadly we would have liked to see a live broadcast, which had been possible, just a little bit more management to get it to work.
The good thing is that there was an English subtitle provided for it at Amazon Prime, the sad thing was it was made to look like someone was typing the subtitle while you watched, which made the subtitle really crap and it did cover the subtitle that has provided in the videos for those who didn’t speak English.

One of the major downsides was that the whole program was mainly focused on USA, with some peeks from other countries. Sure they did give a lot creds to Health Care workers and those working in the food industry, but none was given to the cleaners who seen to that places been covid-19 clean, but who does care about low payed workers.

The artists taking part of the event was a bit scares, nothing like Live Aid back in the mid 1980’s, I guess not many big names wanted film crews in their homes.

I would give this event score of 4 out of 10.
