When the world has been focused on Wuhan Covid-19, the PRC hasn’t been idle in Hong Kong, they managed to rewrite to official status of the Chinese Liaison Office to be the highest instants in Hong Kong to dictate laws, while the Basic Law do not allow any forging interference, not even from the occupation power, which the occupation power has ratified.
The investigation of the police violence and cruelty did politically free the police from any wrong doings, even gang rape of a pro-Democrat protester last summer. Of course the PRC and the puppet leaders in Hong Kong hailed the report, but was criticized by all experts for not having any connection to reality.
Also many of Hong Kong’s leading pro-Democrats has been arrested for breaking the public order ordinance (a law removing people basic human right to protest). Even protesters who has followed all regulations has been criminalized in a try to silence the protests against the local puppet government.
The once pearl of Asia has transformed from a safe-haven to a large concentration camp oppressed from Beijing.
