We all seen the half collapsed bridge with a burning train, there are some surveillance cameras that shows a bit of what happen, but little what happen just afterwards, like what happen with the truck after the explosion.
Lets assume Ukraine would blow up the bridge, they wouldn’t use a truck to blow up the bridge and they would have issues to get this much explosives on to the bridge as trucks are scanned before they are let on the bridge.
Suicide bombing ain’t something Ukraine would do, as for Ukraine each persons life is a lot more important than military targets as we saw in Mauripol where the troops was given order to surrender instead of fighting to last man.
We know that Ukraine has the means of hitting deep into Russian occupied territory as we saw with the missile attack on the Russian navy air base in Crimea, but it wouldn’t cause damage on both bridges.
We have the rumor of a bomb under the the bridge, this also would be a difficult task for Ukraine, as Russia do have check of all boats in the area of the bridge and also the time it would take to install the bomb would be hours and had been easy to spot and also that the explosion would more just blow up a hole in the section of the road but wouldn’t affect the train bridge at all.
What are the options left, Russian explosives transport, the truck would need 20 to 30 metric tons of dynamite, this amount of dynamite you wouldn’t hide in a truck without anyone notice it during a x-ray scan, so the truck would have been expected by the Russians, most likely a transport for the armed forces to be used to build new defensive trenches in occupied territory.
We know that handling explosives in Russia is a bit so so, which could mean that the dynamite wasn’t properly loaded into the truck, which in the end made it to explode.
The explosion was most likely an accident that happen, but Putin will always blame Ukraine for everything that goes against him. Ukraine will of course do everything to mock Russia and those they hurried to make a stamp memorize this accident that will lessen the amount of military support the occupying forces can get which will help the offensive in Kherson.
We will keep on seeing that Russia will take out it’s anger on innocent civilians with more and more aggressive bombing of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
