Theodore Ts’o is looking for a good hosting place which ain’t too expensive to run short time VMs with a good management tools and the possibility to run his experimental kernels, then a small hosting company could get good advertisement by sponsor an important kernel developer with a handful VMs and at the same time support Linux.
The whole started with Theodore’s though of using a Chromebook Pixel but he was worried it’s too underpowered for his kernel compiling and heavy testing and was thinking of using EC2.
